How to become a member

Parijat is a co-operative credit society, which means its members are its real owners. As a member you can save, borrow, and share in the society's profits through a dividend.

Steps

  1. Get the membership form from your nearest branch and fill it in.
  2. Submit the form at the branch with the documents. Ask your branch for the share amount.
  3. Your application is approved at the next board of directors meeting.
  4. Once approved, you are a member of Parijat.

Documents you need

Keep this list ready

  • Photograph
  • Aadhaar card
  • PAN card
  • Address proof (for example an electricity bill or rent agreement)

Why become a member?

  • Only members can take loans.
  • Members receive a yearly dividend, 7% for FY 2025-26.
  • Open a savings account from just ₹500.
  • Start a daily deposit from ₹50.

After you join

  • Open a savings account, daily deposit, recurring deposit or fixed deposit.
  • Apply for a loan when you need one.
  • Use the ‘Parijat MBank’ and ‘Parijat MPassbook’ apps and SMS alerts.
  • Receive a dividend every year.
If you want to leave
  1. Fill in the membership resignation form and give it to the branch.
  2. Clear all dues to the society.
  3. Membership ends after the board of directors approves it.
